Sorry for the long gap in posts. It's been a month since the last post and there have been quite a lot for me to rave and rant about. Of course, there were a few recipes here and there, and pictures from Oahu, too! At the end of the spring term, I joined the fabulous Reina Margarita on a jaunt to Hawaii and visited Lola, M, and Izzy in Oahu, and had a fun time exploring and gorging on home-cooked food and deli-bought poke, not to mention the seemingly endless wines. Even back home, I did not have to join and vino runs to the shops every other day! Well, I was on a break, and on a break from the usual grind. The photos in this post are views of the sunrise from the patio right outside the dining area of Lola's crib! The sunrise is always hazy, soft and the fog lifts slowly. The fluffy clouds are a welcome sight.
The posting will be slow. I am having connection issues at home, and it may take a day or two to fix the lines. In the meantime, I am posting from a local Kelly's coffee shop. Unlimited Wi-fi access is free with a mug of cappuccino. Not too bad!
